New York Fashion Week Fall 2018 is right around the corner and despite some designers choosing not to participate in NYFW; we can still anticipate a remarkable show. Victoria Beckham, Tom Ford, Calvin Klein and Jeremy Scott are just a few of the designers who will be putting on shows. Well-known models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski are expected to attend the big show on February 9 presented by the Italian brand Bottega Venata. Just as hip-hop and rap artists are drawn to fashion we can expect to see many of them hanging out in the front rows. Cardi B and Missy Elliot are rumored to make an appearance at the Angel Brinks presentation. A$AP Mob is likely to be at Calvin Klein catwalk show. For this season’s NYFW designers are working together give back to Planned Parenthood and the Women’s March. Brandon Maxwell, Lingua Franca, Chromat and much more designers are contributing some of their pieces to be sold on the Together We Rise e-commerce site to raise funds. 20 percent of every purchase will go towards Planned Parenthood and the Women’s March. With sex scandals and political issues happening, it will be no surprise if designers use their presentations to make statements. We have already seen designers making social statements in Europe. New York Fashion Week is going to be wild.
